Day 1
What started out as a normal workday resulted in a shocking find... As I was pulling out of my house, I noticed a male mallard duck waddling around my front yard. I was chatting him up, making sure he was okay... next thing I know I'm startled by a noise and the fluttering of wings. Out comes a female mallard! She had apparently scoped out my flowerbed and decided to make it her safe haven for her clutch.
So I hope you guys follow along on this journey as I learn more about Mallard ducks and their reproduction cycle. I've already learned so much!
